Why do some of my pans not turn black with use?

I've got an older, unmarked Wagner that I pretty much just use for eggs and hashbrowns.
It has never taken on the black finish, just a brown color.
Pan works great, though.

It will eventually, Shane.  Just be patient and keep cooking with it. ;)
