So far the caulk is holding up -- who knows for how long.  No leaks after 6 hours of running.

I have 7 items hanging from the hook and I'm gettin 42 amps throughput unwavering.  I am bit worried that this is stressing the charger but everything seems ok.

Yair How did the caulking hold up? I found a SS tank that has a few voids in it and I was thinking about caulking it. Does the caulking affect the CI in any way? I know this is an old post but any info will be appreciated. Thanks

How about epoxy?  That JB Weld stuff should work great, especially for MD since there are only a few small holes.  Yair, it might take a coule or three tubes to do the whole bottom, but it's like liquid welding.

I used a black RTV sealant I got at an auto parts store that makes engine gaskets to seal the seams on a square stainless tank I am using.  Been in place for over 6 months without a leak.

[size=14]I'd try 2 part marine epoxy, the one used for emergency repair below the water line; thoroughly clean the surfaces, degrease, mix equal parts, apply, should be as tight as the proverbial drum !!!
