Question for you Masons
« on: August 26, 2016, 12:24:01 PM »
I like to take internet quizzes. I stumbled on this one and figured I'd try it not expecting to get many right. I scored 100%. My grandfather was a Mason, 23 degree I think and a Master of his lodge if I remember the stories right, but he died when I was like 7 so I couldn't have learned any of this from him.

My question for you is how hard are the questions, really? Did I just get lucky or am I good at deducing the answers based on how they are phrased?

If you guys don't want to reveal to the world you are a Mason, PM me.
Thanks.

Hello Claudia. I can't think of a reason someone would not want others to know they are a Mason. I am 32nd and also a 'Past Master' of my Lodge. And I currently am an Officer in my Lodge. I got a one hundred also. I think the questions were easy and there was enough in the question to help you with the answer. THAT, and you are a smart lady.  :)

I'm proud to be a Mason. When I hear some people talking about it I chuckle to myself. When I first signed up to join a friend of mine told me that in order to get through I would have to swear  allegiance to a snake.

Now we used to sacrifice Virgins at my Lodge but we had to switch to animals. It was a procurement problem. Grand Lodge signed off on our request.

I'm also a Master Mason, past Master of our Lodge, current District Deputy Grand Master of our District, Secretary of my home Lodge, past District Deputy Grand High Priest and also Knights Templar and a few more titles, but all of that and $5 will get me a coffee at Starbucks.  I also got 100% and the questions were not difficult and if you didn't know the answer you could look any of them up on the Internet, as there are no secrets that can't be figured out with the Internet available (well there are a few but I'm not telling where the gold and other treasure is located!!).

Like CPR, I'm proud to be a Mason and I'm out 2-3 nights a week starting in September and associating with men that have the same values that I do and are working to make ourselves better in life and our community.

Hey Claudia. Rick Gilley come on here and he showed us this piece of cast iron, and its old, and we can't make out or figure out what all it says. I said let the ladies come on here and help us figure it out. Maybe they will help us. ME, I'm too dumb to figure it out.  :-[ :-/ :'(

I saw it Perry. I'm not much help either. I'll take another look-see though.
