NC.7
« on: February 21, 2020, 04:22:30 PM »
I just picked up a DO that is marked NC.7 and made in USA. It is a Carolina cooker brand I think but the made in usa throws me off. Was any of their stuff actually made here???? Needs a cleaning and seasoning but was only $4.99.  Any info would be great. Thanks.

We need to see some photos. Many times used pieces that didn't start out together end up together in a "set."

Nothing on Carolina Cooker's website states Made In USA.

My wife described it over the phone and has about an hour till I can lay my eyes on it. I'll get back to you. Might end up a dog bowl.

It's a dog bowl! no lid and it says NO 7 made in usa and that's it. Very spiraly pattern on the inside bottom. Thanks for trying though.

Sounds like a Lodge DO bottom if the "Made In USA" is in the middle. A lid to fit shouldn't be that difficult to find, especially if you have a Lodge factory store nearby.
Don't write it off just yet.

Made in USA on top and no 7 over 10 1/4in on the bottom. Nasty spiral with a raised dimple right in the center of the inside bottom and it's not from cookin. I can't seem to get a picture to load here. Best I can do to describe it.
