Can you post a photo of the top of the lid?

Is there a raised molder mark on the under side of the tab of the DO - I can't see it currently, and can you post a photo of the other side of the trivet?

I will have to look at the tab at home, here is the other side of the trivet.

There is a makers mark, a “k” under the tab.

I think 30-40's because of the raised molder marks. Surprised not to see a mark on the trivet, but the time frame is still accurate for the 8/9 trivet. Somewhere after the 40's the trivet became the 8/9/10 marked trivet, and they dropped making the others.

Thank you so much for the info. I am not a Lodge guy, but I do like this piece. Even with the exterior damage it will make a great user.

OH NO!  It's the dreaded XX!!!  Don't use it!  send it to me and I'll take care of it for you ;)

Seriously though, it will make a fantastic user...  I have two #10s and a #12...
