Slant sided flat bottom pot with lid.

So I saw something interesting today...a pot that was similar to most Dutch ovens at first, with the basting pips  of a lodge, but tall, maybe 10 inches, with absolutely straight sides running at a slant to an outside diameter smoke ring. Marked 10 1/2 inches on inside of lid, an 8 in script that reminds me of CHF, and an 8 on the bottom. And forgot to snap pics. I’m so in need of acquiring more literature on identifying iron. I hesitate to call this a Dutch oven.

It would depend on the Manufacturer... and what that Manufacturer named the product.  They are not all bean pots... ;)

There are many differently named kettles and pots.  :)
