10 Large Logo Smooth bottom vs. heat ring.

I have been keeping an eye out for a nice large logo smooth bottom but it seems they are more difficult to find then the heat ring. Does anyone know? Is the smooth bottom rarer? Thanks in advance.

Well, I don't know about rare; I just checked my pile and I've got everything but a smooth bottom large logo; I guess it qualifies as HTF at least. Note: I don't have a small logo grooved handle either...

If you look at the valuations on p13 of the BB, the #10 is valued the same as a #4 (higher than the other sizes EXCEPT the #2).... that pattern of valuation would place it in the LESS common category.

The #2 would be HTF... (Harder To Find)

A 'Rare' piece would be valued much higher than any of the LB Smooth Bottom EPU valuations.   

Rare is a much overused term.  :) :)

There have been five LBL, smooth bottom # 10's sold in the last 10 days on e-bay, FWIW.  :)

Cheryl I get what you are saying, I shouldn't have said rare. Just harder to find then the 10 with heat ring. I need one to complete my smooth bottom set and it looks like I just found one. Thanks for the help folks. As always this site is the best!

Update. New one came in the mail. Nicely shipped and seems to be in good shape. It is going in the lye bath. I have now completed my set of Large Logo Smooth Bottom! :D
