Identify please
« on: February 09, 2017, 11:18:43 AM »
I just received a Griswold skillet. I'm sure what it is, the outside looks like chrome the bottom looks like a normal cast iron skillet and the inside is very black.  On the bottom is a small Griswold logo, the number 6 above the logo and towards the bottom is either the number 699 or maybe 698. Can anyone tell me what it is, and is the inside a normal cast iron skillet. it seems so smooth I don't know what to make of it. I don't know if its something valuable or just ordinary.  Almost  forgot it does not say USA or anything like that on the bottom.  Thanks

Sorry I can't upload any photos, it's a chrome skillet with a black inside and a normal looking bottom.

Bruce,
Sounds like a common user not a rare or spendy piece. Chrome is not worth as much  as black Iron and it must be mint chrome to be worth much at all!
