Real Griswold #9 710B or fake?
« on: November 22, 2016, 11:56:14 AM »
I picked up a heavily crusted Griswold #9 710B at an estate sale for $2. I am more interested in cooking with it than selling it but I would like to know if it is genuine? Here it is after cleaning:

It's the real deal, one without any ERIE markings under the logo. I think they made this in size 8 and 9, but could be just 9.

Awesome, it looked too good to be true. The gunk was at least 1/8"-1/4" thick on the outside and must have preserved it. Any idea what year it was manufactured?

 • I don't collect waffle irons; they just show up.

The blue book says 1909-1920 for a date range for that skillet.

This one is not an EPU, so I suspect it is somewhere around 1906 time frame.

Harry, what say you?? :) :)
