User Modified Cast Iron

Not sure why those big holes make it better than before, but even a '70-80's made in usa 3-notch lodge doesn't deserve that kind of treatment.

I don't know why either Dwayne. But ever who did it sure knew what they were doing. We're not talking about some goofy person trying out a new drill. That looks professionally done. I'm guessing that it goes with something else.  :-/

I think you're on to something there. That does make sense, buy it cheap at a yard sale and your not out much. It would be perfect for that job and It does have a nice even dozen laid out.
