Unmarked Hammered Skillet and Lid~Any Thoughts?
« on: February 12, 2016, 07:06:19 PM »
Hello All,
I picked up this hammered skillet and lid at an estate today. I believe that I have seen the handle before but I can't place it. I'm not sure whether the lid goes with it but it fits well. It is likewise unmarked.
Any Thoughts?
Ron

Ron, that lid design goes with a skillet and DO that have the same design continued down the sides, so they match.  I have one set, skillet and DO with lids, think my daughter has another set.  Never have found any information regarding who made them.  I will have to look to remember if the skillet is regular or CF size.  When put together, I think they are quite 'handsome'!

My memory is slipping....I think my daughter talked me out of both sets, skillet/lid and DO/lid.
But I can still visit them, they are only 30 miles away....
Cheers, Ellisl
