Griswold 949C muffin pan question
« on: November 19, 2015, 05:26:49 PM »
I have a 949C muffin pan. It is stamped with USA on the bottom of one of the cups. I have seen the USA stamp on other pieces that are older than 1960. It does not say "Made in USA" just USA. Does anyone know what years the 949 pan was made?

Hi Susan, and welcome to WAGS.

In order to identify and /or date items, we really need to see pictures of the item.  Top of pan, end to end and bottom of pan, end to end including handles.

It is not a simple task, sometimes, as there can be many, many variations, especially of Muffing pans.  :)

Hi Susan, the 949 was made in the 1950s.  Considered fairly common and can usually be found for $20 or less.
