So it begins

Just brought these home this morning. Most had already been cleaned decades ago and put into storage. The majority is Griswold, block letter and earlier with a couple Erie skillets. Few Wagner, National and Piqua for good measure.

Wonderful Treasure Trove!  Now your next mission... stop by the cleaning and restoration board.... Construction of lye bath and electrolysis is your next mission!   8-)

Very nice!
Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.

Well played, Bob.  I'm afraid to see how many pieces you'll have in a month. 8-)

Stopping back to see her later today, there is more that hadn't been unpacked yet when I was there. Including a 3 burner hot plate and a pie oven. Her daughter told her to take it all to the scrap dealer.  :(
I couldn't let that happen.  8-)
