Any markings Keith?  Looks similar to a CHF 90 hammered fryer which would probably be 1940's-50's.
The good chefs never burn anything--we call it "culinary brown"!!

I think you have nailed it Randy. Is that yours Keith? Wait till Ed A. sees this. He JUST found that lid yesterday. He had the bottom but lacked the lid, and he found it yesterday at the Springfield, Ohio Extravaganza Flea Market.

That's for sure a CHF number 90 DFF . Seasoning is to heavy to see the markings. .

I'm off to eastern Oregon in 10 mim. to fling an arrow or two
and hope to get an ELK.
So if any one wants it i;m out in the woods sleeping on the ground trying to get an ELK.

Keith, good luck getting your elk.  Where in eastern OR are you going?  I've hunted several years ago in the Steens area near Crane.  Didn't get one but had a great time.

Finished up at $146 and considering the difficulty in finding those lids, I'd consider that a decent price for the set.

I agree Randy. I've seen the lid alone sell for more than the set brought.
