has crack going to clean up and find some one to paint a picture of my Hawk (Studebaker) on it.

That is a nice hammered griddle, never seen one like it. I don't recognize the maker myself, maybe someone else can. It's a shame it's cracked.

I won't swear it's a Lodge, but if you look in the 1921 catalog, it sure does look similar to what they called a long griddle. Your measurements are close to the #7 size (19 1/4" X 9").

I'd vote Lodge as well.  Mike Hobbs had come across a CHF hammered long griddle about a year ago but don't recall dimensions.  Keith can you post another closeup pic of the hammering pattern?

Thanks Keith, very nice grill too bad about the crack.  I still think Lodge--regular, tight hammering pattern like I have on my Lodge hammered round griddle.  Mike H. if you see this please chime in.

Here are 2 more examples of hammered patterns. The first is an unmarked Wagner #5 skillet. The second is an unmarked, unknown #7 skillet.

I always thought the Lodge long griddles had two holes in the handles. I can't deny the hammering looks like Lodge.

Rick, you are correct. In the earliest catalog, Lodge has a long griddle with 2 holes in each handle. Starting in the 1920's, the catalogs only show single loop handles.
