I have seen a small logo breakfast skillet in my travels.  But it was a few years back; they are not common where I have looked.

So I found the small TM 666 colonial skillet with a little help from a friend!  Wasn't in the best of shape and I ended up paying $48 delivered (you always pay more when you have the instant gratification bug) and have a question??? the small TM came out before or after the large one?  I am under the impression that the large TM was newer! However, the small TM doesn't say "ERIE PA., U.S.A." giving the impression it was made later.  Does anyone have an answer for this newbee???

Frank the small logo was made after the large logo (the small logo is mewer).  I did not notice that these do not say Erie, PA on them until just now.  I would have to assume that means this piece was made by Wagner in Sidney, Ohio???

Thanks Jeff, I probably wouldn't have fought so hard had I known it was a newer Wagner but it is still nice to add to my 666 collection. Would you happen to know if I paid way too much? I Just need to get the "Cliff" and the two enamels and I am done! BTW thanks for all your help Jeff! Down below is probably the one skillet I paid full book for! It is however in my top 2 right along with my Beautiful 2073 I got from my wife for our 8 year anniversary from another member here! [smiley=evilbanana.gif]

Jeff, what you say makes sense. I looked at a couple I have. They have the large logo, and say Erie, Pa on them and also 'patent applied for'. SO, I'd say the small logos without the Erie, Pa were made at Sidney, like Jeff says.

Either way I think the small TM helps create a nice 666 collection! I just need to get my hands on the two enameled ones!  I try to steer clear of enamel ware however, being such a perfectionist I would be one broke CI collector (more than I already am) hunting out all the perfect pieces.  I do have one question in the enamel department, being if they ever made a Quaker Ware style corn stick pan?  I really dig the Quaker Ware - See what I did? already expanding the horizon!!!

Frank lucky for you they did make a Quaker Ware cornstick pan!!  If you can find it in perfect shape it is also going to set you back a bit!!

Well Frank, you're asking a lot of questions.  ;D

SO, how much is a lot? How much did you give for the Quaker Ware 666 piece. I have those in black iron, red and cream, and yellow, no Quaker Ware.

Hey Perry,
I paid $125 shipped and worth every penny as its is absolutely beautiful!  I am however ISO the red and cream and Yellow but in as perfect condition as possible.  However, If Jeff keeps confirming the existence of certain pieces I think I'm going to be one broke CI collector!  So now I have to add a Quaker Cornstick to my list ::)  I also think its time to sell off a couple items already!  Like my Beloved Hearts/Star Waffle Iron.

Frank does that high base have the stop pin holes in it??  Doesn't look like the right base but I would still bet it brings around $200.

Jeff,
I guess it doesn't have the pin holes!!! I never noticed as its the first one I ever bought and only cause I got what I thought was an awesome price!  the lister posted with both the word "Griswold" and "Waffle" misspelled so I only had to fight against one guy.  It's in excellent condition and the pic above was one of the original posting.
I'm going to try and post for $149.00 + 26.00 for S/H
