Todays auction finds
« on: August 12, 2009, 08:38:04 PM »
We were actually able to cover 2 auctions today. I placed some absentee bid at an auction yesterday, that was starting in the morning while we were at work. When we got out of work, we met up at another auction. The wife (Deb) left there to go pick up the items that we won at the early auction, and I stayed behind to bid on some more iron. I love it when a plan comes together.

This one I'm gonna need some help with. I'm thinking that it's Lodge, but the book says that these only had a B inside the lid

Here's the inside of the lid. The only markings are on the outside of the lid itself.

I've never seen one of these until Katrina posted one on here this week. I was smilin when I saw this one. Has a small casting flaw in the bottom, but the rest is real nice. Deb plans on using this one.

I don't have a close up, but that is a Wager B bundt pan on the right. And that big one in the back row center is a 6 gallon Marietta. For a size comparison, that is a #8 Griswold DO to the right of it.  I've got few others, and figured this one would go right along with them.
If you want to know about anything else in the pictures, let me know

Thank you Will for seconding my opinion. If someone knows about when this was made, and of course, value, that would be great. I can't wait to see it all cleaned and seasoned. I like the ovals, and this one will fit in nicely with my Wagner and Griswold ovals.

I am going to guess 30's 40's   I have seen a few on Ebay LONG ago.   I think they were bringing $100-150

I can't wait to get the 1508 cleaned and seasoned. Deb wants to use it right away. I'm not sure for what, but I'll bet it'll taste great.

Got a couple pieces cleaned up. Just a couple pics of 2 of them. To bad about that little casting flaw in the bottom. Not bad for $15 though. Deb can't wait to use it.

And the Bundt Pan. I've been looking for one of these.

Just wanted to get these pics of the oval roaster posted. I can't find one on the Lodge pages in the foundry list. Maybe it's just me.
