Small Logo Griswold Skillets

I have two #9 Griswold, Small Logo skillets, The size of the #9 on the handle is noticeably smaller on the grooved handle. Are all the other size numbers on the grooved handles smaller when compared to other small logos?

Dwayne, I've got a 3, 4 and 5 sitting here and they all have small numbers on the handle. Well, small when compared to large block logo skillets. All of my small logo skillets have grooved handles.

Here you are:
Small Logo - TM
groove handle            old style handle
smaller font                 larger font
#6-#699 = 3/8in            #6-#699 = 7/16in
#7-dont' have               #7- #701 = 1/2in
#8-#704 = 3/8in           #8- #704 = 9/16in
#10-don't have            #10 -#716 = 3/8in
Note #9 ribbed grill pan has the smaller font also.
My #9 round griddle has the larger font.
Opinion = Griswold family owned used the larger font,
other owners used the smaller font.

Thanks Michelle & Tom. Tom that's interesting about the fonts and the ownership.

Just my opinion, based on what differences I see in the iron I have and looking at the owenership times in the blue book.  May not be accurate or usefull, but is intriguing to think about.
