Casting
Bodies and bottoms are made of zama, a metal alloy of zinc and small percentage of copper and alluminium; zama, casted in a pot at 400° degrees, is injected with high pressure into the dies. Platic details are pressed in thermoplastic material with injection presses.

no it is not zamac that I'm looking for it is zama.  I need to find out the composition, as I want to see if I can have it nickle plated.  The items that I need to buy are made of zama according to the catalogue and website.

I guess a better way to ask the question would be, Does anyone know of any metal that can NOT be nickle plated?  I can't think of any, but there are likely to be exceptions.
