#11 skillet small logo
« on: October 07, 2005, 08:52:32 AM »
What sizes were the small logo Griswold skillets made in?  I've seen #3 through #10 and I know someone who claims to have a #11 small logo.  I've heard discussion about the rare #10 small logo groove handle.  Were they made in larger or smaller sizes?  What handle styles are on the various lines?  Please note that I am not interested in the "inch" measure skillets, just the older "Erie PA" models.

Gary, I'd call that  a small logo #12. Also, a very fine user. This is one of the ones I use to cook in. In case I wear one out I got three or four more also.

small logo TM skillet, well known about and I've seen alot of them all over the place.  No #11 small TM was made that I'm aware of.  If someone has one, then it is worth a lot of money, likely as much money as a grooved handle small TM #10 Griswold skillet, perhaps even more.

There are two trademark sizes on the 11 skillets that I am aware of, neither of which is the small logo.

Harry, I think you mean on the block TM, heat rim No. 11's.  Both of the two different size TM's on those pans are the large TM but the smaller one is often called a medium TM.  The large TM varied a lot in size among all the different pans that used it including the slant TM pans.  The toy skillet used the large TM but it is smaller than the small TM.   The small TM, with rare exceptions (toy square skillet for instance) was always the same size.  I think the No.5 slant TM was larger than the No.8 slant TM on the EPU pans and maybe larger than some even larger size pans had.
