At least one or two other noted collectors have said they have not seen another of these "late, large TM" skillets but I have had a handful and seen quite a few others. I think they are from the last of the Erie made skillets and it's possible that Griswold was in the beginning process of changing over the tm's on the skillets to this one but could have stopped with a change in ownership or managership. This tm is also seen on the 21xx sq. skillet series and the bakelite handled chef's skillets along with many casseroles in porcelain. I've never seen a regular skillet other than the No.3 with the tm. I used the term "late, large TM" in my first newsletter many years ago as being most descriptive. It's not what I would call a "large TM" as I reserve that term for the common block TM including the one on the No.0 toy skillet which happens to be SMALLER than the small TM. I feel it's the proportion of the various tm's that make it a large tm or the late, large tm, etc. This tm has slightly different proportions and details than the large (block) tm. I put the so called "medium tm" as is used on the 1930's dutch ovens and some of the block HR No.11 skillets in with the large (block) tm as being just variations of the large tm.
