Griswold Waffel Iron
« on: October 27, 2015, 08:42:29 PM »
I just purchased a waffle iron marked REV-E-NOC and according to the listing it is a Griswold made piece and the paddles have the numbers 885 on one and 886 on the other and a date of 1908. I assume this was some sort of advertising piece? What wasn't included was the base. Is there a certain base that fits these paddles and if so does anyone know the part number by Griswold?
Are advertising pieces worth more than what the regular produced piece?

Too bad that you are not a WAGS member, as if you were you could find an abundance of information on the member side of the Fprum. REV-NO-NOC is the reverse of Conover the last name of a head of the Hibbard, Spencer and Bartlett, a Chicago based hardware company. Griswold made cast iron items for them.
