Griswold #11 Large Logo Skillet - Chrome

This afternoon, my wife is picking up a piece we saw this weekend at an antique mall.  It did not have a price listed, so we had to wait for the store to contact the seller and get back to us.

The chrome looks to be in really good condition, no obvious areas of missing chrome, won't be 100% sure until cleaned, but it looks like there is just a little bit of oil cooked/burnt onto the sides.

Saw this piece a few months ago and it was over $100.00.

Seller let it go for $50.00.

Reasonable deal?????  Overpaid?????  Jackpot?????

Hello Roger. Unless that piece is all warped and pitted you made a terrific buy. Fifty dollars for a Griswold number 11 Large Logo skillet is CHEEEEEP.  :)

Flat as a laser.  No wobble at all.  A little bit of blackening on the bottom and sides, but it looks like it is only carbon, not worn off chrome.

Might have a real winner on my hands, only the cleaning will tell for sure.
