« on: January 31, 2014, 02:16:11 PM »
It's the first one I have ever seen with a lid, I've wanted a wapak something, as I used to live very close to wapakoneta ohio

Is it worth anything??

It's a marriage.  The lid appears to be a Favorite for a #8 dutch oven

Nice pairing for usage, that Favorite lid would be useful for a number of #8 items.  Both items have their individual values from a either a collector or use perspective.

Thanks for the information, do you know why the handle on the lid is joined in the middle rather than on one side?

The casting method on lid handles differed over the years and by manufacturer.  Some were 'applied' and come were cast as two pieces of the pattern that joined in the middle.

If I am phrasing that correctly.  ::)
