AL Carder piece

need help identifying the manufacturer and any other info regarding the piece.   its aluminum and if necessary I can get exact measurements but it small...  like for one egg only...feel free to answer here or via email.. (kmstap@aol.com)

Al Carder's was a steak house in Chicago. Griswold made the Service Kettle found on pg. 146 Blue Book, Wagner made the Sizzliing Steak Platters on pgs. 101-2 Red Book. Being aluminum and with more pieces in that line, I'd guess more likely Wagner made than Griswold.
The good chefs never burn anything--we call it "culinary brown"!!

Just musing.... if he jobbed out to Griswold and Wagner, I'm thinking may have jobbed out to other companies also....

True Cheryl, and possibly not even a cast iron foundry.  Some of the other ones in the area would have been Western Foundry (Mi-Pet) or CHF, neither one known for aluminum pieces that I know of.

ok..  Al Carder was the president of the National Restaurant Association ....  but where?? was it from Chicago? new York?  and was it wagner???  cant seem to find out any more than that... any help
