Best Made No 10 - 1244 Lid
« on: December 11, 2013, 11:57:23 AM »
Has Best Made No 10 1244  on the inside of Lid. The Blue Book has 1244 listed as a No 10 Skillet, Best Made. What would the value be & how common. Going in the Lye today

Like I tell everyone.  Check ebay!  If you look there is one that sold for $49   This was listed for month after month and finally sold.  So I would say that is what it is worth.

That is not an easy lid to find. $50 seems cheap but there just isn't a strong market for Best Made.

Here's the other variation I bought at auction few years ago and I gave $40 for it. Has some pitting . Had the skillet already so had to have the cover.

This Lid came with a Lodge SK10 Skillet for $35 and sold the Skillet for $15 to some one that wanted it more than I did.
Now i well just keep an eye open for nicer  Skillet .
Thanks for the information.

Is that a high dome or a low dome style lid?
