I suspect this is an old Lodge, is this correct? What would be a fair price for it?

Have found them for $10-$15. I have suspected them to be Blacklock. [smiley=undecided.gif]

Blacklock/Lodge, price Duke gave seems about right.

Rick, we've got some members working on a time line for Blacklock into Lodge.  IMO if some better dates can be established for when these were made, the values will be higher. Right now there is little known about origins for unmarked gatemarked pieces but the raised letters and numbers and handle configuration in conjunction with known pieces from Blacklock and Lodge are part of the puzzle that hopefully will shed more light on pieces like yours.

Thanks Randy. Got it cleaned up and seasoned, it turned out pretty good. The inside is very smooth but the bottom looks to have some casting marks.

Rick, that is a nice looking 100 year old piece of cast iron.  I buy them when I see them.  ;)
