Hmmm..  I have not had that experience of no corrosion, as my hardware is not submerged in the solution, and I started with plain old carbon steel and did have corrosion and oxidation beginning to affect my various and sundry "hardware" pieces, hence the decision to switch over to  SS. 

The high moisture environment was affecting my plain steel slotted, nuts, bolts, etc...

After two days of using Cheryl's method of hanging the skillet in the electro, I'm very happy with the results.  The connections are much tighter.  The circuit is stronger and the rust is coming off the pieces faster. 

I don't know if this long thread is posted in the stickies, but it sure was useful.  It's truly the "nuts and bolts" of the set up (haha--pun intended).
