Dawn Power Dissolver contains sodium hydroxide.  Here is a list of the ingredients.

http://www.pg.com/productsafety/ingredients/household_care/dish_washing/Dawn/Dawn_Power_Dissolver.pdf

I also found an older MSDS that lists NaOH.  Its pH is about 13, making it a corrosive liquid, so the transportation section of the MSDS also lists NaOH.

I found a Material Safety Data Sheet for P&G Professional DPD, so maybe they are going to continue to market it that way.
Hold still rabbit so I can dunk you in this bucket of lye!

Dawn Power Dissolver was marketed for a short while as Dawn Grill Cleaner but that too has been discontinued it would seem.It came in the same Blue bottle just a different label. It was then remarketted as Dawn Professional Power Dissolver (White Bottle)and you can find it online at some locations but the price is ridiculous.

You can find Dawn Professional Power Dissolve for $60 for a case of 6 one quart bottles. I just bought one.

Yes, for now.  And they dropped the price a bit in the past few weeks.  I have stockpiled 2 cases.

Looks like a product in search of a market.  Wouldn't want to be the P&G marketing manager for that one.  :)
