Howdy - am back with another plated question: What constitutes a 'restore' on a plated piece? 

Stripped and dipped?  Is that even feasible?

Am eyeing my Duo-Chrome 14 (w/lid) imagining what it would look like all spiffed up.

Anyone ever tried re-plating before?
