Who is the go to guy on old majestic wood cook stoves I have a line on one in very good condition and has all accessories.  It is set up for gas thinking it was an early piece they use the wood box to install a gas burner.  Does anyone on here know anyone I can contact to get an Idea what this piece is worth before making an offer.  It was taken out of service when the grandmother quit cooking and put in a storage container I have pics of the item I can post its in outstanding condition not one that sat out on a porch or in the elements

Boy that's a tough one Farold. But it sure sounds neat I'll give you that. Stuff like that has a very narrow market. If it was me and I wanted it, I would offer them one hundred and fifty dollars. That's a good fair offer. Good luck to you Farold.

OH, the fact that Grandma cooked some wonderful meals on it makes it worth about a million dollars to them, to you that has a zero factor. You'll never be able to afford it if you have to buy the sentiment that this piece has.

Perry you are correct.  I have let them know I dont buy sentiment.  Only reason Im wanting is it is a smaller stove and would look nice in my basement as a display with the iron.   Its one of those deals where I can live without  and come out with more room to put shelving for the collection ;D

My bad on this one it is indeed a majestic wood burning stove not gas.  It was a long day and dark in the shipping container I got some additional pics from the lady.  When I looked at the piece I thought it had been converted to gas but upon further review it is a wood burning stove
