Draken Harald Harfagre (Viking ship)
« on: July 11, 2017, 08:10:05 AM »
Nan and I volunteered to give tours of the Draken at Mystic Seaport last Saturday.  Huge amount of fun!  Going to do more this summer.

They are looking for more volunteers, if anyone is in the area.  8-)

Volunteered again last Saturday.  Brought cranberry-orange scones two weeks ago.  Brought 2 trays cinnamon rolls, 12 per tray, last Saturday.  I said they freeze well, and Luke, the expedition manager, put one tray in the freezer for this weekend's volunteers.  :)

HUGE amount of fun.

Saturday was really neat.  Coast Guard Academy Class of 2021 flag presentation ceremony on Chubb's Wharf between the Draken and Charles W. Morgan.  Part of Swab Summer for first year cadets.

Hello Paul. Thank you for reporting in. This looks to be a marvelous time you are having. And some of your good eats as well. If I was there you could sign me up for sure.  :)
