Cub Scout Day Camp...
« on: July 25, 2017, 08:27:21 PM »
I spent today teaching archery to the little ones for the first time in many years...  What a wonderful experience!
Part of the fun is that the siblings of the cub scouts are able to participate in the activities.
My son graduated High School this year and I am reliving the joy that was there when he was that age... :'(

The shooting sports are always of interest to most all young people and it always amazes me how some are so adept at doing such a sport as archery, with a little guidance, at such a young age.  (as well as those who "Know what they are doing")... ::)

Just felt like sharing...   [smiley=soapbox.gif]

That sounds like a great time
Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.

Sounds like a great time.

Our Eagle scout nephew is spending the summer as a counselor at Philmont.

Other nephew (soon-to-be Eagle scout) is a lifeguard at a camp in PA.  I think here ...
