Taking the backroads to Birmingham. Fun finds!
« on: February 27, 2019, 04:42:21 PM »
Working my way over to Birmingham today. Decided to take the backroads and found a few nice ones at some small, off the main drag, antique stores. 3 stops. 3 finds.

- a Lodge “Daily Bread” skillet
- a LBL Griswold #6 (smooth bottom)
- a 1990-ish Lodge tea kettle (it’s in pretty rough shape, but for the price I figured I’d take a chance on it.)

The Lodge “Daily Bread” skillets were made for a Christian School Fund Raiser only 975 were made. Individual skillets like this one have sold at auction for over $100 NWT.
