Griswold double skillet number scheme and mixing
« on: October 12, 2018, 12:18:03 AM »
I have a no. 80 double skillet top, large logo, 1103. It's meant to pair with a no. 80 double skillet bottom, 1102.

I see that the double skillet also comes as 1102A and 1103B, or as 1102B and 1103A. The examples I've seen here are small logo, so maybe they changed the numbering scheme during later versions.

Does anyone know

1. what the difference between the 1102A/1103B and 1102B/1103A combinations are?

or

2. whether or not my dear 1103 will fit with an 1102A? (I am trying to find it a mate, but have only seen an 1102a, and can't seem to locate an 1102.)
