Little Dipper

Picked up this little dipper over the weekend, needs to go in the electro and lye tank , I know it looks familiar ...anyone have an ideas who made it, Measures about 7 1/2" long total

I believe that is a Wax Ladle. :)

Yes, A sealing wax ladle, Useful for canning which we do a lot of, We generally use the newer style snap lids though and not parafin/wax seals

I was thinking Lodge...

Lodge made two sizes:  #1 = 9 inch 7 1/2"
                                   #2 = 9 1/2 inch


Edited to reflect cross checking other catalogs

I believe it is most likely a Lodge Sealing Wax Ladle.

The handles are different from Lodge...I was thinking maybe BSR , Maybe some markings are hidden under the rust and crud, either way it's a cute little ladle, I like the fact that it stands up all by itself because of the flat bottom and heat ring

I don't believe that BSR ever produced any wax ladles.
