Hi all,
I'm new to the forum as of this week. I've had an interest in cast iron for a while but don't often get the chance to indulge.
I recently found a pan at a local Goodwill. It is small, is made of a very thick gauge; at least equaling that of modern Lodge, has a machined cooking surface with the machining swirls visible under the patina, small suggestions of pour spouts, what seems to be what might pass for a heat ring on the bottom and the stamped letters.....
MADE IN USA (top center)
NO. 3(bottom center)
6 5/8 IN. (bottom center)
2(bottom center, much smaller font size)
Anyone have any idea what it might be?
pics to follow if I can get them to download.
