« on: June 05, 2016, 12:05:01 PM »
The large one is 5 x 7 maybe for bacon or a  sandwich?                       What does the flower one do ?  Could it be for a cookie or pasta? butter maybe? Thanks.

FOUND IT!   O K, That smaller one, 3" in diameter, I see in the 300 Years of Kitchen Collectibles book by Linda Campbell Franklin.   Its for making Shrewsbury cookies, or biscuits in its English form. There seems to be as many recipes as there are for sugar cookies that they favor. Was cast from about 1908.  So its a really old fancy cookie cutter.  Griswold and Wagner missed the boat on this one .  Could have been a top seller like the BSR wedge corn bread pan.

Hello JR. Thanks for telling us what it is. Thats pretty neat. At first I was gonna say it was one of them things where you go around the edge of a pies crust at the top and makes it dented so it will look better I guess. I know it don't help the flavor none.  :-/

Shrewsbury biscuits and tea! With the new Casting Call to read. Now, which to have first? Black tea or Twisted tea? The problems I have to deal with every day. And its only 2:00 on a Wednesday afternoon.  Its tough being retired!
