Findlay skillet with GSW ghost
« on: February 16, 2014, 01:39:13 PM »
So, I saw this one on line..

For us Canadian collectors,  I'm trying to figure out how these two got crossed up...   I know GSW bought out a few companies, and that Findlay continued on into the 70"s ish

You can see  the GSW crest part in the middle

let me know what you think

I bought the exact same pan yesterday at the local Salvation Army thrift store for $10. The ghost is less distinct but is definitely the GSW shape and if I look at the right angle I can make out the W and part of the G, phone camera doesn't pick out the details well though.

I haven't done a direct compare to my no 9 GSW pan yet, but I think it's interior surface is smoother.
