Mountain series smooth bottom ?
« on: November 24, 2015, 12:33:22 PM »
I looked around on the web for a bit and can't seem to find smooth bottomed  Mountain series skillets,

So now I'm wondering if this is one

9.5 inch across the top, sadly a slight wobble to it.

 what do you think?

i have to say it's a darn lite  pan

thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,
The Iron Mountain skillets made by Griswold are known for that distinctive handle shape, but others have copied it. I think that Wagner made some with that handle, as well as at least one other company.
The ones made by Griswold have a four digit pattern number on the bottom.

Hey Chris ,

I sprayed a bit of easy off on bottom for a while, see if i could see anything,  the bottom is sure worn out,  like it was rubbed across a stove top a lot,  my lye bath is in process of freezing up lol

 so far no markings

Thanks for the input

Mike
