Look what I got...finally
« on: February 14, 2015, 10:03:15 AM »
I had been looking for a Griswold Waffle maker with the high base for the past year.  Finally, I found one that I wanted on EBay and won it.  Then, the post office LOST it!!  I just got the $$$ back for that one when I found another one, that is actually older and in better shape than the first one.  It actually was delivered yesterday...

Hello Eric. Congratulations on your first waffle iron.  :)

Now if you are not careful they are like rabbits.  ;D

This one you bought here was exactly like my first waffle iron. I bought it at one of our cast iron conventions.

Cool...thanks for the info on posting pics.  I was doing good to get any of them to post in the first place...lol!!! ;D
I am looking forward to making waffles this weekend.  I'm going to clean it real good and re-season it.  It's like an addiction, I've already been looking at a low base model.

I used to sell on Ebay, a lot. The USPS never lost a single package sent to me. They lost numerous money orders others had sent to me. Glad when Paypal came along.  That being said was there any recourse from the PO. Do you ar the sender do a search?  Sometimes if the sender would mix up a few digits in the address, 11950 instead of 19150 it goes into a dead letter room, It might stay there a while until some one asks about it.
Just saying

Eric Rice....congratulations on your waffle iron! I have been looking for one, but as of now...have not found one. I do like the high base!

I just joined yesterday and it was nice to see someone find something they have been looking for.
