ID These Pans

I had posted about these pans about 8 months ago, but have had no luck since in their identification. These are taken from a picture and enlarged. Anyone know the brands or what the round pan even is?  I'm stumped. Thanks a bunch!

And the round one, I don't think its an ebelskiver.

Austin, so sorry I can't help you on these.

The pictures just are not clear enough for me to ID...  Markings are critical, and pictures of the Top and Bottom are usually needed to attempt identification.

I suspect the second pic is an older aebleskiver looking at the handle.. but..

Are these from pictures of the collection of the professional golfer?

With the tall rim on the 4 hole pan, it might be a real egg poacher.  Still would work fine for 'skivers.

I has seem them referred to as aebleskiver, egg poachers and escargot pans.
In my way of thinking it does not matter what they were designed for, it is how well they work for what you use them for.

Austin, The handled New England style roll pan is probably by KNOX Bros and it will probably be marked as such on the strip that separates the rows of cups. We think it was a New England company but can't say for a fact.

Weird, I had corrected that plus also included a short bit about the raised rim holding the glass cover in place when used as an egg poacher and it never posted.

But I'll tell you what...with the cold temps this month hitting a good bottle of Slivovitz is not a bad idea

Cheryl, yes these are the pictures from the golfer article.  Did you moderate my thread when I originally posted this like 6 months ago? haha.  Good memory.  I figured the round one might be an ebelskiver but...4 rounds?  Seems like it would be something else, but I don't know.

Tom, I was thinking it would be an egg poacher.  I have yet to run across one that small in my research, but it's a possibility.

Valerie, I have yet to look up an escargot pan...I'll search that.

Harry, Knox Bros you say?  I'll have to check that out and see if I come up with anything.  I had someone tell me they've seen them on ebay before but for ridiculous prices.  Thank you my friend!

Austin, here is a link to a Staub Cast iron Escargot Pan, I think the egg poachers and escargot pans are deeper than the aebleskivers and although it is hard to be certain looking at the photo you posted it does look deeper than an aebleskiver pan,

I have had escargot at a restaurant and although I liked them I felt the price was not really worth it, My grandfather,father and brothers were Baymen and we had Conch (although we called them Winkels) quite regularly and they are very good, Most Baymen would bring them in and toss them on the docks because they eat clams so they were considered pests, My family brought them home and ate them and any that other Baymen tossed aside we would take and use for crabbing as the crabs also love them.

Much is lost when our grandparents are no longer with us :(

I've had conch fritters in the Caribbean..very good. And used to dive for abalone in San Diego many years ago...those are good too.  But nowadays if I want to splurge on seafood I buy crab legs or lobster tails.  Everything is so expensive I don't get it as often as I would like to.  :(
