That auction you found is really interesting. That is the last of the 962 pan variations made in Erie. I was actually surprised to see the Erie on the pan, as the box says Sidney, OH. That box was used after Griswold was closed in 1957 and moved to the Wagner foundry in Sidney.
They took the Erie PA off the Sidney produced pans.
You can see the year of manufacture of the box as 1958. So, assuming the pan came in that box, it is most was old stock from the Erie foundry put in an early run of the Sidney boxes.
Just an interesting combination. The Erie pans tend to sell for a little more than the Sidney ones.
