unmarked HR #9 skillet with 756 on it

Helping a friend  figure out who made it,  any help is appreciated.


even tho  i resized it  I had to crop it to fit the 250kb size limit,  sorry for  3/4  of a pan photo lol

waiting on more complete photos from him

It is a unmarked Griswold skillet. These came in #7, #8, and #9. I have a #8 no#755.

I really don't know about the other questions that you asked about. I believe that they were a earlier skillet. Maybe someone else here could help you out on this better than I can.

The Red Book shows these on P 134 (#8), places circa at 1920's, and value of $45 - $60.

I found two  on line,  one starting bid at $89, and other asking price of 180 ish

I could maybe see $89, if it's excellent condition..$180... no way.
Are you going to clean it up? I'd like to see :) an after pic if you do.

I don't have the skillet,   buddy in Alberta does,  he just plans to sell it, and doubt he'll be cleaning it up..

Some say these were unmarked victors. I believe they are the same size as the victors (slightly smaller than regular Griswolds), and the pattern number is in the same range
