Help with a weird one
« on: November 09, 2014, 10:36:40 AM »
I usually walk right by these types of things but this one caught my eye. It seems to have quite a bit of age to it and was very well used. The casting is surprisingly detailed. (Also the price was $5).

I can't find anything on this and I do all of my cleaning outside, so with the temps in the 30s it will have to wait until next spring for the lye bucket.

Has anyone seen one of these before?

Haven't seen the cast iron bear serving platter, but there are several cast iron bull serving platters on ebay.

I saw those as well, but could dig nothing up on a bear. It is clearly not a new casting and has some age to it.
