Hello All, Latest find at flea market. Hinged broiler with a Pat. date of May -8- 1878. no name to  be found on the broiler any info would be a help.

Michael, this is the patent closest in date to yours that I could find in our list.  Maybe someone better at the search will find something else.

Thanks Randy, I have been looking also, but haven't found anything that looks like it. It's going in the lye bath and then on the wall.

Nice broiler. Sorry I can't provide any details, but here's a gate marked #8 broiler I found recently.
