Need some help on this wafer iron.

From what I've researched so far my guess is a very early design after the purchase of the patent from J savory and sons.

It has not been repaired. But does have the bradded handles with mine covering up the pn #'s. Also had an individual send me pics of theirs. It looks identical except there is no pattern numbers.

Would love to find out more about this sucker and when it was made from what I have found it being an early version of the bracketed handle style in the blue book.
