Have you seen one of these?
« on: July 09, 2006, 08:47:16 PM »
Was given an unusual cast aluminum piece. Square as in the photos, but the raised logo on the bottom has no wear on it. It has the greaseless type of trough around it,  and that trough does have some burnt material in it. The sides and the trough angle down so the grease will collect in the back. Any ideas on it's use, and why is the logo on the bottom without wear? Has any one heard of this company?
Also before anyone asks the handle is on correctly, it has a flat spot on it so it can only go in one way. Thanks

Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.

It looks like a bacon cooker to me.  No info on the maker and don't know if I've ever seen one.  Would be nice in iron.
