I've just acquired my first Griswold piece,( well they're a rarity in Australia) a #7 waffle iron, very large logo which covers the entire bottom and wire handles, any info appreciated. Rob

Welcome Rob, size 7 Griswold waffle irons aren't the most common size to find here in the U.S. either.  According to the "Book of Griswold and Wagner" it was probably made from around 1910- 1940's.  A very nice waffle iron.  Do you plan to use it or is it for display?  If for use, we have a nice cleaning and restoring link above that has a lot of good information.   Please feel free to look around and ask questions.  There are many knowledgeable collectors here.  Once again, welcome [smiley=welcome.gif]

Rob, if you will post the three pattern numbers on the three pieces we can tell you more about the iron.  Griswold made over a hundred different waffle irons and variations over the years.

Rob, your a man after my own heart.  I do love the camp ovens and love to use them.  There are several of us on here that collect/use them.   ;)
