Third Series Erie.

I would consider the 8 to be more common.

My #8 Second Series I gave $22.50 for.... about 6 years ago.:)

No idea what the current market has been doing, because I'm not buying.

That extra curlique on the "R" of ERIE shows up on some of the later pans.  I have an (otherwise crappy and pitted) ERIE 9 that has that type of "R" on it.  I don't think that makes it worth any more than the kind with the block R, though.  Whatever the blue book says for a regular flush HR ERIE 8 is what this thing is worth, I'd say, if the rest of it is kosher.

I found that it is probably a third series. It is a really clean one and I wouldn't mind keeping it. However, I just bought a skillet I need for a set and I must replenish my CI fund.
